Philippe, I think it's technically a Royal Burgh, not a city, at least according to the place's website. Famous it most certainly is.

Now I feel totally stupid -- I was just looking at aerials of Fife and East Neuk courses the other day, and in particular this and Kingsbarns and a few others.

Don't feel stupid - I decided I ought to make a list of the various courses I've used in these threads and already I've forgotten which one of them is! I'll have to sneak back through all my past posts!

This is an old photo of The Dukes Course... Totally threw me off...

Routing in whole North section and also the bunkering is now completely different since the redesign...

But it's still current on Google Earth. Scotland in general is rather shabbily treated.
