On and Off Topic....
« on: December 18, 2008, 07:32:34 PM »
I see that the Williams/Mickelson and Madoff O/T threads, with 3,141 and 4,958 Views, crushes the Pasatiempo and Wolf Run architectural ones with a mere 839 and 738 Views respectively.

It just goes to show, that no matter what, we do have an eclectic bunch of guys on this site.

Bob,
There a reason soap operas are still on TV.   People are voyeurs.

Fortunately, at The Barn last night, the discussions really did circle around golf and GCA.

Also, a lot more people can contribute their opinions (plus banter) on those two subjects, which ups the view count as well. Only a reatively small number can contribute much on the course threads.

Sean,

That is very well said and IMO correct; I think everyone would prefer to have a discussion about a golf course that they know but that is rare.

To me it is amazing how many people have played Wolf Run and that a discussion on the course is even possible.

I would have to agree with Kenny. I have never played Pasatiempo or Wolfe Run but I am more familiiar with Williams/Mickelson.
