I'm just wondering how a helter-skelterish group of mutts like you were able to convince the man-legend that is Charlie Rymer to come along for the outing.   ;D  ;)

Do not forget that Charlie had a larger audience for this outing than his recent television show has garnered.  Two things...Thanks to Peaches for bringing a bottle of very good red face inducing scotch and I miss Patches.  I was recently in a public area where names are called to report to a specific location and Patches was called.  I could not get away to see if it was our long lost friend.

Hey John,
Actually charlie's recent Myrtle Beach road trip series has done well and will be back in a few months.  He also was hired to do the next Big Break which will be from Prince Edward Island and has already been filmed and the Golf Channel was impressed enough hat he is now going to be full time with them by Summer....but he will still come to these outings if we want him....especially with GT playing like they now play ;D ;D ;D

Wrong Johns, Chip

Vander Borght on the far right, Kavanaugh on the far left.

Rich

Rich, you have been away too long.

Far right is not John V... and I'm sure both would chuckle at the mistake... that is Daryl Boe.

But you do have Darth Kavanaugh correct.

Wow I guess I dont get on here very much anymore.  I see how quickly you get forgotten about.  I think it might be time to make a New Years Resolution a little early that I will try to find more time to get back to GCA.com.  I fondly recall the days when I couldnt go for more than a few hours without checking in here to see what had been posted, lest I go break out in shakes from withdrawl.  Ahh that was before marriage and children when I had no life to speak of.

Thank goodness I still had this thread bookmarked so that when a new post came in, it reminded me.   When I saw that email, I was like what the heck is this thread coming back up for?

I got a kick out of my comment in the first line back from the post back in 2004, about shrinking the pictures for those people using "Dial Up".   Does that still exist?

Wow, that was a fun weekend.

My other recollection of that weekend was that I left my hanging clothes at home when I ran out the door.  So I bought a different shirt in the proshop on day one so that I wouldnt be in the same shirt every day, and each night I at the condo I changed into my Gore-tex rain pants for a little lounging around the condo, while I laundered my pants, socks and underwear for the next day.  There wasnt a whole lot of shopping options anywhere near Cuscowilla back then(that too has changed), trust me I tried.  Thank God there was at least a Publix where I could buy a toothbrush and toothpaste.
