There must be more of you than Michael and I who know where this is. Traditional heathland. Annually it hosts an important amateur tournament (inaugurated 1976) with Peter McEvoy a two-times winner, Gary Wolstenholme and Zane Scotland also winners.

I've played it only once, about 3 years ago but can't remember it very well and still don't recognise it. I guess the clubhouse is bottom right. I thought it was a great layout at the time and for £38 with lunch it was a great winter deal - I must go back now after looking at this.
