Another nomination for Lester George. His skillful reworking of the Charles Banks-designed Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia Beach and his original design at Kinloch Golf Club near Richmond are two fine examples of his worthiness for consideration.

I have heard that Mike K owns lots of other land around Bandon, so if he has other great sites, Doak would be my first choice

If he has nothing great, than an "ode to St Andrews" would be my vision

Yes, he does, south of town, but not anywhere near BD Resort.



How is the topography of that land?
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta
