Unfortunately far, far from it; as some fellow members of GCA can attest!! That was some dork taking pictures of himself.

He shall remain nameless!!

Kenny, I felt that GW is the best of the lot there although I would head over to Cuscowilla for better golf in my opinion. Very nice C&C design. Nice pictures of the old reverse C swing-Iagree with the Johnny Miller quip-just painful to watch !

Jack,
I couldn't agree with you more; I think Cusco is a much better overall golf course. Although the back nine at GW is pretty spectacular.  I love the second shot to #9 and the majority of the back nine.  My problem with the front nine is that all of the holes except #5 (I think) are pretty bad.  It reminded me of Sea Pines or something like that.  Houses just cramming every ordinary hole.

In addition to the Double Eagle photos, the first one looks like the 8th at Longaberger and the one with the monstrosity in the background would likely be Ginn Hammock Beach--Ocean. I think I recognize the hotel more than the hole though...

I like the holes you posted at Double Eagle, the stretch from #4-9 was my favorite on the course. I do think the back nine lets up quite a bit--once you get out of the trees I found the holes a bit less unique. The cape hole pictured, #15 I think, is interesting because the closer you can get to the water the better the angle for the second shot, but its a huge risk obviously.

I know folks here often bash Art Hills, and the 8th at Longaberger especially, but I think its a fun hole on a pretty good course. The 4th hole didn't work IMO, but I enjoyed my round there as much as the one at Double Eagle.
