5 on par 4's?  Plus two other double eagles?  I'm calling B.S.

I would wait around the clubhouse after my round until this guy finishes his round from now on.

I had the same thought -- find out when he's playing and play in the group right after him.

shouldn't it be "hole"-in-"ones" not holes. I am calling BS too on 5 aces on par 4s.

Some people will go to amazing lengths to get a free drink.

"Hocker said he's just glad his club membership comes with "hole-in-one insurance.""

How soon before the club bounces him for this scam?

Reminds me of the woman who had a bunch of them in short order a couple of years ago. Nobody she played with actually saw the ball go into the hole. They were all found in the cup.

This is complete and Total BS; if you even begin to believe something this far-fetched then I have some ocean front property in Arizona.

5 on par 4's; lol; you couldn't do that if you sat on the same tee and hit thousands and thousands of balls for every day for 3 weeks there is noway 5 would go in the hole from over 300 yds away; it is impossible.

This is a great article about the most recent hole in one hoax; in fact one of the more interesting I have read in awhile.  I highly reccomend it.

Maybe he and his friends and family are taking advantage of the club's lack of due diligence on following up for the insurance policy.  You'd think if the club is really buying drinks for everyone on a daily basis, they'd begin to suspect something.

Jim - I do believe the correct plural is as stated - "holes in one" rather than "hole in ones".

There was a chap (he was a pro) that played 4 consective holes in -10, that takes some beating, I think he had back to back albatrosses then a pair of eagle's and two of the holes he aced, his card went something 2,1,1,2 against a par of 5,4,3,4. Thats holing 4 consective approach shots. The course was in Chicago.
A combination of whats good for golf and good for turf.
