Joel,

I was going to mention Bloody Point and Hell's Point.  These are both great around halloween and I really like Devil's Pulpit, Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow.  Good luck with your article and post it on GCA so we can read the story.  I am not sure how you can use Devil's A**hole but, I am sure Hell's Half Acre can be used as reference with regard to one of the great courses Pine Valley.

Robinson Ranch.....

Also, right in between Desmond Muirhead's Soboba Springs and Quail Ranch courses near San Jacinto, existed on what is now Scientology property (owned intergalatcially by L Ron Hubbard and Tom Cruise) a course that was once called Massacre Canyon.

Off the top of my head, how about The Devil's Thumb in Colorado, The Devil's Tower in Wyoming, El Diablo in Florida (with a great logo for Halloween). Of course, there is the Monster Course at the Concord Resort in New York.  Isn't there a Lucifer Golfing Society in England?

The 12th at Gorge Vale is the best hole on the course!

Eric,

Those are some good ones with the word skeleton in the name.  I totally forgot to mention Dead Horse Lake in my post and to think this course is in Knoxville.  Back in college at UT I played it all the time for $20 to ride 18 holes along with Pine Lakes.

Not so much the name, but I got very spooked yesterday when some guy from LA tried to tell me that Art Hills' Black Gold near Tommy's house was a "great" course....and this was while playing Rustic.
You'd make a fine little helper. What's your name?

Thanks again to those who contributed GC names for this Halloween feature.  Here's the short story---featuring a little-known Tiger Tale that will make some of you say, as Johnny Carson used to.."I did not know that!"
