Mike, Jay et al,
The point of comparison is Beechtree. I have played 3 rounds at Beechtree this last Sunday & Monday.
You have to put a couple things out of your mind at Riverfront:
1. it is a housing development course, particularly the front 9
2. the greens are bent
3. the fairways are bermuda
4. the course is much softer than Beechtree, Riverfront plays longer than Beechtree
5. the green speeds are slower than Beechtree (they have to be in order to be playable)
The green complexes at Riverfront are more complex in their slopes and demi-domes than Beechtree. The lies in the fairway are a bit more rolling and softly bumpy at Riverfront, even though the overall elevation change on the site is slight.
