I will only answer on those which Mike has not already shown and told me about....

Kalen is correct re #3 - it's Poppy Hills, #8.

#6 is the putting green outside the conference area, taken during a late night of carousing during The King's Putter at... Stevinson Ranch.

#1 is Cinnabar Hills, Lake Nine, #2 - great par three hole - this is taken from behind the green.

#2 I can't place... 4 and 5 he told me about and will not reveal as it's Mike's game!

Oh, and the course?

Stevinson Ranch...more specifically a small practice green near the bungalows and their clubhouse where much Masters viewing occurred.

I'll have to go with Sharon Heights because the bunkering looks MacK'ish and Jack Flemming was a protege of sorts of his IIRC.

I've never played the course though so wouldn't have a clue on the hole #.

(It was the homes on the hill that led me to think Penisula, because while I haven't played that one either, I have driven by several times)  ;D

After further aerial review, I'm going to have to change back to Penisula Golf and country club.

Once again, not sure of the hole #, but its the one right next to the clubhouse and pool.  ;D

#1 i, as Huckaby correctly guessed, the 2nd hole at Cinnabar Hills - the Lake 9, in south San Jose.  This hole is a challenging par-3 with the green sloping from front to back.  The photo is taken from behind the green with the tee box out of the photo on the right.

#2 is the 7th at Peninsula G&CC in San Mateo, CA.  and is Donald Ross' only course west of the Rockies.  Ron Forse completed a restoration in 2003.  Peninsula Re-opens

#3 is from the tee box on the 8th hole at Poppy Hills.  The hole bends to the right around the bunker to an elevated green.

#6 is from the 2005 Kings Putter at Stevinson Ranch in the San Joaquin Valley of California.

Mike,

#4 isn't Boulder Creek then.  Am I in the right state?

Is #5 at that certain course in Oregon that doesn't officially exist?  ;D

Isn't that exactly what I said above?  I got 6 right also....

Ok, you get credit for #6 also ...

But then again, you get blame, much like Nick Faldo, for captaining the good guys to a loss and have the shame of handing the Putter to Jeff Fortson ...
