I'd love to play Rich - but of course I work three miles from there and see that course once or twice a week (from the outside looking in, driving range, practice green anyway) and I have played it many times.  If another GCAer who hasn't played Stanford wants this spot take him over me for sure.  But if you get no other takers, let me know... it'll just be a very long lunch. One way or the other I'll swing by and maybe walk a hole or two with you.. it's been far too long.

You're on for the long lunch.  What sort of work are you doing these days?  If it's bankruptcy administration, you might be able to write it off, that is if you don't mind waiting for another bubble to be paid for your services..... ;)

Sadly that is not my world.  Or happily, perhaps.

Project Manager / Corporate Paralegal - VMware, Inc.
For now anyway.  As the financial world crumbles so go the fates of virtualization software companies, I fear.

In any case, give me an email address for further details, if any.  Otherwise I shall be there 9am or so... warming up being highly overrated.

Rich - UPDATE:  my apologies... idiot me, didn't check work calendar... I have a massive meeting 9-11am on Thu.  Some meetings are missable, this is not.

I may well come walk 10 and 11 with you... I could be there 11:15....

Hope to see you then.  But count me out for the golf proper.  Sorry about this.

Thanks, Huck.  Before you come down, check with the pro shop to see if I'll be there.  Tom Watson's been texting me madly to get a few lessons regarding the CLAW (tm), so I might have to bolt too.....
