What is Tommy up to?
« on: October 02, 2008, 09:50:13 PM »
Today I was driving home from Fresno and came upon a truck towing a trailer which revealed what the Emperor is doing these days:

Tommy's new career

I always knew there was a lot of bull whenever he was around. ;)

Awesome

They sell semen!!!
What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--

Tommy is probably watching the Dodgers with Geoff.

...and calling certain north side Chicagoans under the auspices of architecture, but really just to brag...

You will note that you received no call, nor email, from a certain other Dodger fan as rabid as Tommy is about such things.

I make these calls AFTER series' are won.

Hopefully the Emperor didn't insult the baseball gods too much.  It's now his ass if we blow this.

I think I've made my thoughts on baseball perfectly clear.  Since the start of the Curt Flood era, where ballplayers with bats are fundamentally no different than mercinaries with machine guns, if I've got 4 hours on a nice summer day to kill, I'm goin' golfin'...

Excellent.  Then you shall be one Chicago friend that is spared my gloating, IF such is to occur.  Understood.

So how are the Yankees doing?  We don't get much coverage of ML Rounders over here in Scotland.

Either a cruel joke for our NYC friends, or a perfectly innocent quip that is poetic.

They have missed the playoffs...and I for one am glad.  I don't think I can take another game where we have to see Gulliani waving from the stands and the Fox announcers kissing NY city's ass.
