Lawsonia October 11-12
« on: September 10, 2008, 10:23:28 AM »

I have a number of tee times set aside for the afternoon of Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th.  These were set aside for a golf match that had to be moved to another date and venue.  Since I haven't canceled them yet I thought I would first see if anyone is interested in joining me for 1-2-3 rounds that weekend.  The Fall rates will be in effect so the value can't be beat (e.g. $23 after 2 pm Saturday, Sunday $30 round walking or $65 all day with cart).  I am planning to play around 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon and 36 on Sunday.

I fully expect Dave Schmidt to be on hand to give pointers on the proper technique for brats at the turn.

If we can get a small group we can find a place for a dinner Saturday night.

And as if anyone on here needs convincing simply check out these photos from last weekend on the other Lawsonia thread.

Come for one day or come for all.  Please let me know if you can make it.

I really wish I could...I have been meaning to get up there and see the course so many have been talking about!

However, I'll be in Chicago on the 12th running 26 miles.

Up to 6 maybe 7.  No sign of Shivas aka Mr Brat Slippage.  Do I hear 8?

Hey Folks,

Looks like we have 10-11 interested so far and room for a few more.

I have heard recent reports that the course is in fantastic shape.

Dan,

I just had someone stress how much I need to get up to Lawsonia.  I also had a great time making the trip to Erin Hills with you guys last year.  Unfortunately, Lawsonia is a bit out of reach this time of year for me.  Hope you guys have a ball up there!
