TEPaul,

That is what I was thinking. Who sits on the couch and thinks something like that up. How do you even think something like that up if you don't have some historical information. Whatever.

Robert:

How and why would someone just think something like that up, indeed.

Not to get too far afield on the subject of shit and scatology but the other day I was listening to a lecture of a most interesting history professor who was making the point of just how much modern man has separated himself from his natural relationship and interconnection with Nature itself and do you know what he pointed to as being perhaps one of the biggest reason of all for that disconnection?

It was the invention and common use of the indoor toilet!  ;)

Think about it---he probably has an excellent point there.

Robert:

Laughing is good.

As Mark Twain said:

"Nothing in the world can withstand the ONSLAUGHT of HUMOR."

(That was the line Whoopi Goldberg used when she received the Mark Twain Award for Comedian of the year in October of 2001. She said because of the events of 9/11 she wasn't going to come and get the award because it seemed trivial with what had happened in the world but that remark of Twain's reminded her that she should come).
