Related in a general sense -- the sterling nature of what you can find in the greater 75-miles radius of Denver for fun and affordable public golf never ceases to amaze me. Plenty of choices and candidly the metro area around Denver can make a solid case to match the cumulative public course qualities of Phila, NJ and all of metro NYC (save for BB) combined.

You need to go there and really see what's been done recently and what's on tap to come forward in '09. Likely, you will not get to see the courses on the other side of the mountains because they offer a great deal to the total equation that makes Colorado golf so compelling from all sorts of different angles.
