Askernish/South Uist on BBC Two Tonite!
« on: September 05, 2008, 07:32:13 AM »
The TV show "Coast" is on BBC Two tonite 9:50-10:00pm.  The description of the show in the paper reads "Starting in South Uist and traveling up to Harris, Neil Oliver battles against the elements on a lost golf course designed by the legendary golfer Tom Morris."

David,

Do you think BBC 2 will put the video on their website?

Some of those swings remind me why we never video the Buda...

Aidan, enjoy and thanks for the glimpse of Askernish.
"The mystique of Muirfield lingers on. So does the memory of Carnoustie's foreboding. So does the scenic wonder of Turnberry and the haunting incredibility of Prestwick, and the pleasant deception of Troon. But put them altogether and St. Andrew's can play their low ball for atmosphere." Dan Jenkins
