A fine tribute to Bob Labbance

I'm proud to say the author of this piece, Tom Bedell, is a good friend of mine, and one of my favorite colleagues in the golf-writing business. I'm sure many of you will enjoy this fond tribute-slash-remembrance of the recently-passed Bob Labbance.

Geoff Shackleford didn't see your post, as his morning e-blast inquires as to whom the author is. Might want to let him know. I enjoyed it and posted as such on the Reformer site.

A nice tribute.

Dude, it's so Vermont. If you've never been to the GM State, it's worth a trip. People in VT and NH are a different breed. However, if you're the slightest bit conservative, be prepared.

Today I received in the mail my GolfStyles New England magazine and on the last page, poignantly, is an article by the late Bob Labbance on some of his thoughts regarding Lou Gherig's disease/ALS.
