Pelican North for sure over the South. Both are improved after the recent "re-perfection".
The South has a few golf holes that are simply awful, with an overage of faux rockscapes, interior mounding, etc. The best holes on the North are a touch better than those on the South...and the worst holes are far better.
At the prices they charge, the general reaction by locals is muted - 25-30 decent golf holes up there, but at $235 per round with $15 bloody mary's, people look at them both as more of a 1x per annum deal. With the pending opening of the resort, rates will be going up and local play will diminish even further....leaving Marriott timeshare and other tourist play....exacerbated by the fact that 50% of the people that live down here being realtors or mortgage brokers.
I've not played Trump as of yet but all reports have been negative.
