Roll Call for the Congressional Open and meeting places
« on: June 07, 2011, 10:35:54 AM »
How about a show of hands for who is coming to the Open?  I'll be there starting Monday, but Tues-Wed and Fri are my best meet-up days.  Also, what do you locals recommend for a good meet-up place?   A place away from crowds where it'll be easy to spot each other?

I will be working the 14th hole in the afternoon of the four tournament rounds.  I live a short distance from the course so I can get together somewhere locally if others are going.

I will be working as a marshal - we rotate positions during our shift:  tee, landing area, green.

I am there Thursday but am a guest of a corporation and probably can't control my schedule. But as my wife described me,look for a squinty eyed stocky guy. And I will unfortunately have on long pants.

I'll be there Thursday and Friday with my two boys. The weather forecast looks good with the forcasted highs between 85 and 88 for the tournament days. It's wonderful that the USGA provides free admission to my twelve year old and $35 admission for my fourteen year old.
