Jordan,

I am not sure I feel the same about which of those courses I would want to play everyday.  With due respect to the Sean's, I feel that Aldarra is just too penal for me to want to play it every day.  I'm a ten handicap and breaking 90 at Aldarra is a bit of a feat.  If your driver isn't on then expect a lot of triple bogeys and it won't take much effort to add a third digit to your score.
Chambers Bay, I think can beat you up a little, but if your smart you can find your way around the trouble.  Both have spectacular natural beauty, and both are a tough walk.  But if all other things were equal I think I would have more fun playing at Chambers
I still need another crack at Aldarra though so don't blackball me!  ;D

I am in the same camp with Cory.

If I have a less than a stellar day at Chambers Bay, I can still get around using the fat landing areas and feeding areas around the green.

If I have a less than a stellar day at Aldarra or Sahalee or any other heavily wooded courses, I would be hacking out of the woods all day, lose a ton of balls, and my score would certainly be higher than it would be at Chambers.

I would much prefer to have Chambers Bay as my everyday course.

And I am already blackballed at Aldarra so it doesn't matter :) - j/k

Yep, Aldarra is too hard for wild, higher handicappers. Biggest shortcoming of the golf course, for sure. Biggest fairways around except for CB, but big misses/tops etc,  are severely punished.  GD raters rate it high, and GW raters not so much.

Hell its too hard for me many days as well. But it is an excellent golf course.

Aww come on guys.  I'm a 20+, love Aldarra and am delighted it's my home club.

Maybe there's something wrong with me? ;-)

Pat,

The only thing wild about you are the madras shorts you wear.

Sean - are you saying you don't like the spandex, form-hugging madras?

I'm hurt

Pat,

It goes well with your olive skin. ;)
