Bob Huntley brought up in the "One course for the rest of your life" thread the possibility of a MPCC Composite Course.
Obviously, it'd need shuttles (but it'd start right off a "main road" and end up at the MPCC Shore halfway house), but doing the math/work on looking at this course, I SERIOUSLY can't think of a better combination of golf holes that I'd more want to play....
There is every type of hole--every type of Par 3, every type of Par 4, every type of Par 5--all along the glorious Pacific Ocean.
The course comes out to a Par of 73, by no means strange in today's modern game. If a Par 72 is needed or desired, The "first" hole (#9, Dunes) could easily be played as a long 4 par from the forward tees.
1. 9th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 5 (short reachable Par 5)
2. 10th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 3 (short Par 3)
3. 11th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 4 (short Par 4)
(Looking back to tee)
4. 12th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 4 (long Par 4)
5. 13th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 5 (medium length Par 5)
6. 14th Hole, MPCC Dunes--Par 3 (medium length)

Second shot (at dogleg)
9. 9th Hole, MPCC Shore--Par 3 (long)
Par 36 Front 9
10. 10th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 5 (reachable)
11. 11th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 3 (mid iron)
Video, listen to the wind!
12. 12th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 5 (Long)
13. 13th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 4 (short)
14. 14th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 3 (long-ish iron)
15. 15th hole, MPCC Shore--Par 4 (medium length)
16. 16th hole, MPCC Shore--Play as par 4 from forward tee (long)
Looking back at tee:
17. 5th Hole MPCC Shore--Par 4 (Play as risk/reward hole driveable hole from forward tee)
18. 6th Hole, MPCC Shore--Par 5 (mid length, may be reachable)
2nd shot:
Par 37 Back 9
Sure, I can think of better individual holes, but I literally cannot think of a better combination of golf holes over 18 holes?
