For those not aware, Hartford Golf Club is hosting the USGA Junior Girls Championship next week.  An excellent opportunity to see this course under tournament play.

Thank you for the clarification.  I have corrected my initial post.

Interesting to see that Ross visited Hartford as late as 1946, two years before he died.  Evidently he still had work to do on the course.  Wonder if he stopped by Waterbury and Wampanaug while he was in the area.  One wonders whether an architect as prolific as Ross was at all curious about how his work had evolved through the years.

Thought I'd bring this to the front.  I've been caddying at the Girls Junior this week; anyone in the area should pop by and watch some golf on a really good test of golf for these young ladies.  You won't be disappointed.
