GCA Contest 2008: standings through US Open
« Reply #50 on: July 15, 2008, 11:42:26 PM »
The big winner was Matthew Hunt who selected Tiger Woods and Lee Westwood for two points.

The following players earned 1 points for one correct answer, picking either Tiger or Westwood: Cohn, Gaskins, Bert, Birkert, Towe, Dusic, Pearce, Wagner, Benham, Kelly, Flemma, Lavin, Morrow, Peters.

Nobody picked Mediate.

The worst pick (or best, if he was being highly tongue-in-cheek) belonged to Dean Stokes:

I cannot believe people are taking Tiger :D :D The hardest tournament of the year with a suspect knee, thick rough and rustiness.

I hope he does win but palease. He has no kryptonite in Stevie's pocket does he ???

Nice one, Dean.

Standings after two majors:

2 points - Towe, Birkert, Hunt.

1 point - Ewen,  Krahenbuhl, Daley, Choi, Thompson, Pearce, Freeman, Stewart, Rivando, Cohn, Gaskins, Bert, Dusic, Wagner, Benham, Kelly, Flemma, Lavin, Morrow, Peters.

Wrong thread Mr. Mike! This was the US Open thread. I will rename it to be less confusing though.  :)

Since I appear twice in the list of people with one point can I merge those personalities and have two?
In July I will be riding two stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity, including Mont Ventoux for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

No, the two personalities will have to fight it out for the single point. That should be fun to watch.
