Thanks for those article links. I hadn't seen either of them. Jim Nagle along with Chris Brennan and the crew from Frontier can't be thanked enough for the job they did. There were surprisingly few problems and the project went smoother than we could have ever hoped for. We are now in the middle of our 2nd full season and the course is holding up beautifully. The newer strains of Bent grass are flourishing, and we are constantly battling the Poa that remainied even after the chemical and gas treatments that initially killed the grass. I swear that if there was ever a Nuclear winter and any human survived, at least we'd still have Poa grass alive to play golf on.
