Is there a new edition/reprinting of the existing edition coming out?

I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Confidential Guide?

I've never heard of this book.

That's the problem.

Figuring out the market price. Some people think they are worth at least $1,000-$2,000, but one just sold on eBay for ~$400.

Jeff,

I'm heading to the US in three weeks.  If you are keen to offload one, please let me know with a price you are looking at.

Thanks.

Yes it is, Tim, except that since Harrison Ford is too old, they're getting  the kid who played Doogie Howser.  It's called "type-casting"....

I didn't mean for a "commercial" thread to get any legs...sorry Ran.  Anyway, I have two copies in very good shape that I would sell for whatever price the ebay auction running now ends at.  Send me a pm through the site if interested, I'd prefer to end this thread.

From the Renaissance Golf Design website:

"NOTE: Renaissance Golf Design reacquired the copyright from Sleeping Bear Press and plan a reprint in 2005 or 2006"

Have these plans been hashed?

Dan Kelly,

I don't want you to think that your reference went unnoticed.  I nearly wet myself when I saw "It's like Brigadoon."  How funny and how appropriate was that comment.  The Buffalo Public Library System has a copy and, for some unknown reason, does not have it in the rare books section.  They don't have a clue that it shouldn't be available for public consumption.

As I've said here several times, I have no current plans to do an update of the book, and won't tackle it as long as I remain busy as an architect.  The only updated version is on the laptop from which I'm typing.

Sorry about that, I'm new to the forums. I did search past forum posts (that's how I found this one) but apparently missed your previous comments.  Thanks for letting me know.

Tom,

I will never ask again about if/when "The Making of Pacific Dunes" will be published either . . .  ;D

For historical accuracy, can Tom (or anyone else) give the details/chronology of the various versions of the Confidential Guide?

I understand it started with a self-printed version distributed to friends and that there are a couple of published versions, one with some errors that were subsequently corrected.

What's the CG's geneology?
