Re: The minimum PERCENTAGE of total greenspace that's pinnable!?

On my relatively few posts on this site, I have touted the virtues of Riverfront in Suffolk, VA.  The greens and their surrounds are very complicated.  The green speeds have to be fairly slow by some standards.  The pinnable areas on greens 5, 7 & 9 are limited.  Beyond wear and tear on the greens, I am not sure it is a real 'problem' or not.

TE,

That was the point of my post, is to point out the fact that there is no true percentage of pinable areas as this changes based upon a combination of green contours plus green speeds.  An archy that understands basic agronomical issues, and most do, will give you at least 4-5 pinable areas on a green, and hopefully more.  It is up to the super to be responsible enough with their green speeds to maintain those pinable areas.
