Listing less than the required 18 holes is deemed to be an incomplete answer.

Please bring lists with less than 18 holes up to 18 holes.

Dave,

I think that is a great list - but no 11 at Yarra Yarra?. For mine its a better hole than National 7 - which is spectacular but the quality of the greens is not comprable.
I have not played 5 of your holes but the other 13 would be on my list.

I can kind of see why but it amazes me how many think 13 at Barnbougle is not a good hole.
Graham Marsh for one thought it was a joke but it is one of the most fun short holes in golf.
It is one hole where you must control what your ball does after it hits the ground and the shot requires perfect shape and trajectory  if it is to navigate the slopes of the green.

#2- Glen Ridge-135 yards-hit the correct quadrant or else.
#15-Jeffersonville GC-deceptively longer than on the card.
#4-Hidden Creek C.-slightly longer Redan, impressive scale.
#8-Tallgrass-devilishly difficult in the Eastern LI winds.
#15-Knoll West-Biarritz at 245 yards
#4-Bethpage Red-an inspiring setting.
#17- Bethpage Red-last good chance to make a birdie.
#7-Penn State (White)-the potential to be a great skyline par 3
#18 Congressional (old)-the setting is impressive.
#4-Beechtree-a deceiving green
#4-Schuylkill CC-incredibly demanding green complex.
#15-Hidden Creek C.-deceptive and proof positive a par 3 does not have to overload the senses to be a good golf hole.
#6-Ridgewood CC West-short iron, missing the green is disastrous.
#6-Manufacturers
#5-Huntingdon Valley
#3-Huntingdon Valley
#5-Lederach-deceiving, but offering many options.
#17 Tobacco Road-sentimental favorite.  Not difficult but meaningful.

Tried to separate my favorites into three buckets based on scorecard yardage (from ~6500 tees and/or second set of tees) and uphill-downhill but without factoring in wind:

Shorts (under 150):

Troon 8
Pacific Dunes 11
Bandon Trails 5
Kingsbarns 13
Musgrove Mill 2
Sawgrass 17
Arrowhead 9

Mid-Length (150-200):

Black Mesa 11
Turnberry 4
Bandon Trails 17
Kingsbarns 15
Old Course 11
#2 9
Harbour Town 17

Longs (approaching 200):

Ocean Course 17
Turnberry 6
Carmoustie 16
Prestwick 5

Found it hard to pick just one from Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails and Black Mesa.  Pained me to not include at least one from Bethpage Black.
