Some of my favorite tee shots are:

Skokie #1...what a great start to a fabulous course.
Inverness #1 and #10...I love the tees next to each other with the group of bunkers separating the two holes.
East Lake #15...I agree with G. Jones on this one.
Callaway Gardens Mountain View #15...with the tee sitting above the lake, and the fairway with pine trees to the left and the lake to the right, it's one of the prettiest tee shots I've seen.
Muirfield Village #5...I want to take a picture every time I stand on that tee.
Desert Mountain Cochise #1...the one time I played it, thankfully I took a step back and admired what I was looking at.
Camargo #12..tThere's something about the tee, isolated in the trees, and the fairway with the three cross bunkers in the distance, that makes me love this tee shot. Everytime I play it I tell whoever will listen that it's one of my favorite spots on any golf course.
Loch Lloyd #18 (in Kansas City)...it reminds me of the eighteenth at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, with the downhill tee shot to a fairway with a creek all the way up the left side. Very picturesque.

I like to have a little room to the right so I prefer #2 and #4 at Pasatiempo over #10 or #16 ...

#5 and #9 on Olympic Lake ...

#12, 13 and 17 at CPC ...

8th  at Pebble
5th at Mid Ocean

One's I have played, in no particular order.  I realize these are more because I love the surrounding that due to the difficulty, strategy of the shot.

1 at Bethpage, because how often do we play in front of a gallery?
1 at The Judge at Montgomery is fun, huge drop.
3 or 18 at Oakmont.
4 at The Heritage.  I just love those oaks.
 
And others that don't come to mind.

A couple from the Pacific Northwest:

#1 - Golf Club at Newcastle - dramatic backdrop comprised of miles and miles of the Seattle area, including Lake Washington, Bellevue Skyline, Seattle Skyline, Puget Sound, and Olympic Mountains.

#6 - Desert Canyon - central Washington high-desert - huge downhill par-5, some 650+ yds from the back tees.  The backdrop, scale of the entire scene, and cliffside setting above the river are hard to describe.

Both are long downhill par-5's - where it's fun to follow the ball flight, for what seems a VERY long time...

...the tee shot you think about when you start planning a trip...

Getting off the first tee at The Old Course consumed me for months before my trip.  Of course it's wide enough but when you're a slicer, right is no good.  So what to hit: length isn't that important, but you CAN hit driver, and all those people watching, and it IS The Old Course....so I hit a snap-hook five wood that ended up about 20 yards from Swilican Bridge - taking right "a little" out of play.  Post mordum: 2nd shot in the burn, chip and putt for bogey five.

The back back 17th tee box at Paa-Ko Ridge is as high as I've ever been on a golf course, thought if I swung hard enough I could hit the moon.  So I tried....

Turnberry Ailsa #10 makes me smile.  Gleneagles #3 makes me sweat.  I really want to try for the green in two at #11 at Sawgrass so a good drive is key.

The 1st tee at Devil's Pulpit - Scenic shot from the Escarpment looking south with a view of the CN Tower on a clear day.  A par five with a double fairway and a large pond on the right, quite spectacular.

The 11th at Glen Abbey - Another elevated tee that looks down into the start of the wonderful valley holes.

The 1st and 10th at Lookout Point- I guess I'm a sucker for the elevated tees.  Both are part of the Niagara Escarpment.
