On the heels of the Wade Hampton thread, where does Fazio's Quarry Course at Black Diamond Ranch rank among modern courses and among Fazio courses?

Mike, Quarry is a tricky one to evaluate.  The 5 quarry holes are most certainly world-class.  Most of the rest of the course is merely very good.  Normal Fazio golf for Florida, but nothing exceptional.

Similar to Pebble Beach in this regard.

Didn't Mike Strantz work on Black Diamond Ranch? I've never played there, but I'm curious if his fingerprints can be seen there, or if it was too early in his career.
