Has anybody seen and hear The Golf Channel ad that says "The modern game descends on hollowed Colonial CC? I have been watching TV for a while now and don't ever remember a mistake like this and it has been running for a week!!!

How does this make it to air? Are they talking about tree removal? What am I missing?

What should they call it if the Supe takes measures to make his course play like Dallas's Brook Hollow?

Wow, you're right.  That is pretty bad.

I heard from my man on the inside that the greens are rolling at 13 and the players are loving it!

I know, I still can't believe it. I have never seen something like this on television.

We've been lucky with some warm, dry weather as of late and the golf course is really playing well. Alot of balls bouncing into the rough and the greens are remaining true, even with the temps into the 90's. Scott Ebers, Golf course Superintendent, really can make Colonial play exciting and it looks like were finally going to have the weather and wind to do so! Should be a fun weekend and the players comments have been positive!
