Philip, Sean - you gentlemen are too kind. I threw in Rolling Green's 14th after seeing it in Sean's review, and while trying to balance out as many different courses as possible (and keeping it to ALL short Par 4s and 2 Par 3s).  I wanted Dornoch in, so kept the 15th. But also, while I too am a fan of the bunkerless and crafty hole, there's something to be said for an occasional par 3 that's dreadfully hard.

Peter

Why were you sticking to par 3s and short 4s?

BTW  I would like another go at Rolling Green.  Those damn hills make putting a bewildering proposition!

It can be very frustrating doing this sort of thing - sometimes insisting on retaining a prticular favourite screws up thewhole card.

Here's another limiting facor. Pretend you are an old-fashioned Brit and that the course will mostly be used for foursomes, not least mixed foursomes. You will be teeing off alternately, so you want to ensure that the short holes come on both odd and even numbered holes, ditto the long ones etc.

I have taken a good look at your eclectic.  The one hole which puzzles me is Hunstanton's 16th.  Why have you selected this hole?  Or more accurately, why have you selected this hole and the 6th at Sandwich?
