Patrick,

I'll chip in - for a fun, budget round Mike Dasher's Highlands Reserve is great.  It is always affordable, seems to be accomodating to groups and is a really nice design on some interesting topography and neat holes.

Keith.

Keith's right.  If you play any of Dasher's area courses you'll have a good time.  Highlands Reserve is pretty good, North Shore is excellent, and Eagle Dunes is even better than that.  I have not seen Providence yet, despite Mike's attempts to get me out there.  (Sorry!)

Another thread recently mentions another of Mike's works, credited to Arthur Hills.  My understanding is the the Dunes near World Woods was mainly his work.

Well I'm all set for the Wedding Outing at Errol Estate Country Club after a confirmation with John that it was worth playing.

Here is the website for the event for all those interested:

I have visions of the PMC moving North and extending out to become a Mid-West hosted GCA event in the future. ;)
Did you know World Woods has the best burger I've ever had in my entire life? I'm planning a trip back just for another one between rounds.

So, I'm headed to Orlando in a month, and am playing Grande Pines Golf Course.  I think it is the Marriot course.

Here is the website: http://golf.marriott-vacations.com/leisure/golf-courses/grande-pines-golf-club/photo-gallery.jsp

Has anyone played this course?
Thoughts, opinions..
Is this typical Florida golf?

Also, I will have time for one other course that week.  Are there any suggestions for courses in Orlando?

Thanks!

Jordan:

Don't know where you are staying but the courses at Disney World are very good.  There are five or six courses there.
Good to see you this past weekend.
