The waterfall at the 18th at Wynn in Vegas is hard to top.  It does, however, seve one useful purpose: it cements the feeling that you just played EPCOT National.

I built some waterfalls for a landscape company while in college.  One of our premises was to always hide the source of the flow, usally with low hanging Scotch Pine Branches and a bend in the river as it comes out of the flow pipe.

That thing doesn't even try to hide its origins. I can see the back of the wall.  Also, doesn't match the scale of the surroundings, it overwhelms it which would only happen in nature at Niagra Falls.

There must be something pretty ugly to hide behind this beautiful waterfall!

Looks like what it is doing right now out the window.

When I first saw that, I didn't think it was too bad, but the more I look at the picture, the more it just looks terrible. I agree with Jeff, there is no attempt to hide anything, its just sitting there with a few palms around it. The overwhelming I could deal with, if it blended more than it does. Yeah, thats pretty bad, but it might not be the worst I have seen.

Easy; the water bunker featured on the current #1 @ Red Hill, Thomas' first design in California. I could hear him turning in his grave all the way back in Philly!
You'd make a fine little helper. What's your name?

The bunkers at some of the local courses in DC make for really annoying water hazards after a few days of rain.
