O.T.-Club Logo ID Help

I found a golf ball with the following logo:

A horseshoe pointing down, interwoven with what is either a fly rod (can't see a reel) or a buggy whip of some short.  The date "1887" is printed below the horseshoe. 

Thanks in advance.  I need to know if this one is worth keeping for my collection, or if I should just go ahead and re-lose it the next time I play...
