Lights, Action, Camera!
« on: July 30, 2002, 06:53:44 PM »
The Golf Plus Edition of Sports Illustrated featuring GolfClubAtlas.com is printed and in trucks heading to every corner of this fine country.

400,000 anxious subscribers have no idea what is in store for them  :o Indeed, the article, which insiders say may win a Pulitzer, is so good that SI apparently decided to feature our very own Tommy Naccarato on the cover of the Golf Plus section hitting a splash shot out of a bunker at the GCA.com Rustic Canyon get-together.

Jeff Silverman's article, which I have not seen, may be three pages or more in length. Will we come across as bigger buffoons than we actually are? Or will we come across as saving the free world from tyranny?

Only time will tell....as we steam toward the iceberg...as Custer yells "Follow Me"...as ....

Cheers,

PS In addition, there is a chance that the article may be posted in the golf section of www.cnnsi.com sometime in the next several days.

If it's not posted on cnnsi.com, where can one get a print copy?  I thought the golfplus part doesn't go to newsstands... and unfortunately I gave up my SI subscription a few years ago.

This I MUST see - obviously!

Cool, it should be arriving on my doorstep tomorrow!

By the way, did you all see me in the "Family Tree" issue?

I got my copy of SI today.  Great article, lots of photos, I'll bet traffic on the web site goes up 1000%. :)

Congratulations Ran!
Maybe now you'll start up a career as a golf course architect

What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--
