This month's Golf Course Industry magazine features an article on Ballyneal construction and agronomy.  The author, John Walsh, did a great job.  Very comprehensive.

Great article.  So those trade magazines do have something cool every now and then.  Congrats to Dave for the work he has done.

Thanks for sharing the article, John.  As a future superintendent I can only hope to be affiliated with such a project.  As for this upcoming summer, I can't wait to get out there and learn as much as I can.

It is fascinating to see fescue become a success in the high plains, the climate is about as inconsistent and extreme as you can find.  If you look at the average temps, the high and low can swing 60 – 100 F ( 40 – 60 C ) all within the same month.  Not to mention the constant wind
