Huh, Apparently We've Been Given a New Mission
« on: February 25, 2008, 05:19:57 PM »
Or maybe just GMBF has given himself a new mission.

The old mission read, "GolfClubAtlas.com is presented to promote frank commentary on the world's finest courses."

The current mission reads, "GolfClubAtlas.com is presented to promote frank commentary on golf course architecture."

Anybody care?

"Anybody care?"

No.

Nobody pays any attention to web forum mission statements.

Unless they're unhappy with something someone else wrote.

For what it's worth, I have no issue with the wider view. "World's finest" is just someone's opinion, and the better courses are always going to provide the bulk of the discussion, especially in a crowd as esteemed as those who post here (myself not included   :P ).

Sometimes, it's most interesting to hear discussion of those courses that don't make the "Top Whatever."

Nice improvement.
