Help.

Can this marriage be saved?

Had a dinner party last night and Tivo'd the wrong channel.

Has anyone a tape of this? If so I shall be in your debt.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Bob

In the category of different domestic bliss for different folks, I found some last night by agreeing to watch the final episode of the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice instead of the Oscars.

It was terrific.

Bob

P.S. I'd guess that Jane Austen didn't give it much thought, but there are great golf courses begging to be built almost anywhere in the Hampshire countryside. ;)

Bob,

Glad this worked out.  Initially, my thought was a reknowned two word quote you purportedly uttered at the King's Putter when a participant in the final deciding match left himself an impossible pitch.

My second thought was this could be right out of a P. G. Wodehouse short story with the "clicking" provided by the remote control.

As a revenge, Mrs. Huntley will Tivo the Food Network instead of the last round of the Masters.

What did Bob say when he discovered his mistake?  I bet he didn't say 'Pity'.
