For those of you looking to add to your golf library.

Search by subject "golf" and close to 500 titles will come up. Some great values such as Finnegan's Where Golf is Great. There's a Confidential Guide for under $400 which is a relative value compared to some recent prices on Ebay.

I think that one should be very careful about making purchases off this website. My first book, Golf for the People: Bethpage and the Black, is being sold in hardcover with a dust jacket for $78.62!

That is insane! If anyone wants to purchase the book for this amount, please do it through me as I could use the EXTRA $50 over what the purchase price actually is.

Heck, for another 38 cents you can purchase my biography, Tillinghast: Creator of Golf Courses, in leather-bound with gold leaf in a slip-case.

That is just one book and when received by the purchaser at that price would be remembered as a a complete waste of money. I am angry that they have inflated the price in this manner as it will affect the way my work is viewed.

How many other books have they done this with?

I've been a customer of Alibris for 30 transactions and all has gone well. If you have a question before or after the sale, email the seller direct. Alibris is a central registry of thousands of independent used book sellers, and they will back up any transaction. If you are looking for several books, try to purchase from one seller to save shipping costs.

Econ 1, Supply and Demand.  The good news, Philip, is there's demand for your work!
