A good collection of WWOG on the Golf Channel over the next couple weeks:

Sun 2-24 10pm:  Mickelson/Toms, WW Pine Barrens    * tonight *
Tue 2-26  3am:  Littler/Knudson, Ottawa (ROCC?)
Fri 2-29  12:30am:   Couples/Campbell, Kauri Cliffs
Tue 3-04  3am:  Devlin/Sifford, (Royal?) Selangor

All times Eastern.  Set your Tivo unless you're a serious night owl or in Hawaii.

Matt, not since 2002 (?)

I believe that's the year for the two "modern" matches, while the other two date from the mid 60's.

I would love to see a 'modified Shell match'.  How 'bout Jack and Arnie playing over a couple of hours at Augusta.  No need to keep score.  Just have them tee it up and discuss what it is like playing it currently versus over those decades they teed it up.  That would be special to me.  I think they are both way past having any ego issues and the episode would be worthwhile, IMO.

The match last night was interesting.  That was my first "look" at WW Pine Barrens...seemed to be a pretty interesting course.

I really liked all the audio they inserted from the conversations between caddy and player.  David Toms let his caddie have it a couple of times.

Also saw where Toms allegedly asked the official to check Phils ball to determine if it was legal?  I'm guessing that must have been tongue in cheek/ kidding around on Toms part.  Can't imagine he would be asking the rules official to take a serious look at that in a silly event match.
