Congrats Ian

Just to cut him down to size a little, I have a recreational hockey source who tells me he should keep his day job.  ;)

Way to go, Ian, it was an obvious choice and here's hoping it's fruitful for both of you.

Achtung!
Wort Polizei!

I think you'll find it's 'Hear hear'

Boy, but I hate myself sometimes. But, only sometimes. Edumacashun is indeed a marvellous ting, baby.

Ian, can you have a quiet word with the lad to maybe stop doing that daft backswing practice nonsense. Ta.

Guy,

Now you've gone way too far!

You could have called me a lousy architect and that would have only hurt a bit, but to question my hockey skills...my god man - that's cutting me to the bone!

I have no choice but to defend my honour.

Use the link to check my stats on the standings page (and do note I've missed 3 games because of that damn day job).

I look forward to a full page apology

(although I did kind of suck at the superintendents tournament this year)

Don't worry, all my source knows about the line of charm is that it rarely works on his wife.

. . .  references Riviera and Colonial as the best examples.

He loves the Australian Sandbelt courses and talks about the opportunities presented by the short grass around the greens. The one course that keeps coming up is Shinnecock Hills – the last time was a long conversation about the green complexes and the way some of the greens fall off at the edges.

What!? Are you sure he didn't mention Husum Hills Golf Course in the Columbia Gorge?  (Legend has it that he's actually played this enchanted golf course.)
