Chicago GCA get-together
« on: February 12, 2008, 02:35:15 PM »
I talked to Shelly Solow and Rick (the great Oz of this site) Holland and we all think that a Chicago get-together of the gca crowd.  We have picked the date of Wednesday, March 5.  We're thinking Keefer's (where we last met when Mark Rowlinson was in town) or Harry Caray's.  Who's in?

Is Shivas is there, I owe him for the trek he made to Battle Creek a few years ago...in heavy snow!

Joe, Today would qualify as a heavy snow day.

Shelly,

Is there any chance Obama is having a rally in town on the 5th celebrating mini-super Tuesday?  If so I think I would drive up and do double duty.  Let me know if you hear anything.

He's staying in Texas tonight; Hillary's in Ohio.  We'll try to forget about them at Keefer's.
