Makes you wonder why "The Automaton Caddie" disappeared for about 100 years.

I went through the first 20 pages.  Mostly clubs and collection of clubs.  Then a few old balls and then some books.   Did I miss anything?

Somebody has either donated a huge collection of Ryder Cup items or they have assembled it piece by piece.   Regardless it could be the biggest collection of Ryder Cup items ever assembled.

Not a chance.  The man had his opportunity to sell and he chose the auction route.  I am told Sandwich is interested in the painting.  Apparently Noel Bligh was a very long time member - some 60 years or something.

I will be bidding on another item though.

Didn't anybody notice Samuel Ryder's putter is on the block?

Ciao

£2,500- £3,000 for the NB picture! prices seem to have fallen back on golf collectables over the last year and I wonder if the recent financial falls will further impact things. I have a 1937 open championship competitors metal badge and a signed 48 programme that belonged to Henry Cotton, I have been thinking of selling.
