I will be there from the 26th until late afternoon on the 31st.  I will be attending some of the education lectures during the week.  Hope to drive up to TPC Sawgrass to have a look there on Sunday the 27th before coming back down again on the Monday.

I have to get back on the Thursday evening as it is my daughters birthday on the Friday.

I will second Mike Nuzzo's recommendation for dinner on Thursday evening. I understand that there is a Golf Course Builders dinner scheduled for Friday evening that several of the architects are planning to attend.

If anyone has a spare moment, I would recommend the the SPIDERMAN ride in the Marvel section at Universal. It is awesome esp. if you sit in the first row of the ride.

They are charging the gca's this year, so I think attendance among archies will be down. :(

I will be there and actually will be part of a group doing a presentation on water issues for the golf industry and what role the GGCOA, GGCSA, GCMAA and GSGA took in trying to present golf's case to our state legislature.  I think the presentation is 11:00 AM on the 31st.

Anyway, I hope to see some of you down there.

Gentlemen

John Conley the Orlando GCA representative has suggested an informal get together at Friday's Front Row Sports Grill on THURSDAY JANUARY 31 at 7:30 PM.

8126 International Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
www.frontroworlando.myfridays.com
E-mail: frontrow0602@bellsouth.net
407-363-1414

It is located near the intersection of Sand Lake and I Drive which is very convenient from the convention center. I wll call to make arrangements for a group table under the name "GCA". For those who have not been here it is a very casual sports bar with TV's everywhere as well as sports games. I would like to target 7:30 as a meeting time considering the GIS trade Show closes down at 6:00 and the NGCOA Idea Fair ends at 7:00. Please let me know if you are interested in order to get an estimated count. Please feel free to drop by for a frosty beverage!

Steve Curry and I will be holding down a table late Thursday night at Florida's premier wine bar and cigar emporium, Corona Cigar, nearby on Sand Lake Blvd. off I-Drive. See you there.

Rob,

Despite my duties at GIS, it looks like I will be able to make it. I'm looking forward to it.

Corona Cigar Bar has no reservations, very little room, six spots at the oak bar, 3 cushy seats in front of a TV, and a few tables that spill over into the parking lot. Also has aisles and aisles of boxed cigars. An amazing place, so join us late.

Lester, three years ago, Curry was heavily under the influence even before he got there. Two hours of smoke and wine actually helped clear his head!

We'll get there about 10:30 and just hang around. We just have to decide if it's a.m. or p.m.
