What the hell, I bet he wins it all this weekend.  How far do you think he'll get?  JC

I picked Weir to knock off Tiger in round 3.

My final four is Ogilvy, Singh, Garcia, & Romero; with Romero as champ.

Finally 3rd round matches I hope happen (otherwise know as TGC's dream):

Tiger v. McIlroy
Singh v. Els
Garcia v. Rose
Romero v. Kim

I predict Tiger will be eliminated during my 4th beer on Saturday......

What about a dream final of   -   Tiger v. Padraig.

The winners of 5 of the last six majors.

(I assume NBC & the PGA Tour would be ok with this final. ;D)

Here's a contest on the upcoming Match Play I'm running in a Hilton Head--area newspaper....chime in, and perhaps win a comped foursome at Old South the next time you are in the Lowcountry.  (2nd prize---a nice pair of sunglasses.)

I'd like to see an earlier match between Padraig and Sergio.

I would bet the farm on him winning. I really don't think he would be playing the week unless he is 1000%.

Apparently in an interview today on ESPN radio they reported Hank Haney saying his short game was better than ever because he had been working on it a ton while he couldn't make full swings.

I think the first round will be telling. If he rolls in the first round, and plays very well, I like his chances to win or put on a very good show. Now if he struggles in the first round, I don't like his chances so well. The first round though will be key to seeing how 'rusty' he may be.  Because even he has admitted that the feel of competition is far different than just playing.
