I believe the winner of the Celebrity Apprentice will be given the opportunity to either design the course in Scotland or build a casino in Atlantic City.
Fare and be well now, let your life proceed by its own design.

There is an excellent discussion on Geoff's site...just click on comments under the article.  It lists the architect and everything.

Don't get all excited, guys.  That was just the first hurdle (local).  There is another one (county) coming up in a few weeks, and then after that (assuming that he wins again and the environmentalists object) it has to go to the Scottish Executive.  I'd hold off reserving tee times if I were you. ;)

Initially, Trump announced Tommy Fazio (nephew of Tom Fazio) as the GCA. Several months ago, Martin Hawtree was brought into the picture as well.

The initial vote to approve the project is the lead story in the Press & Journal, Aberdeen's newspaper. Here is a link to their website:

The BBC just aired a report on the vote. The natives sound, er, a bit nonplussed.
