Simpson, Schmimpson..let's have a caption contest!
« on: October 26, 2007, 10:02:16 PM »

Thanks to my evil doppelganger from across the sea, Tony Muldoon, it's photo caption time again!

The best answers will try in vain to tie it to gca.  (small gca, as in golf course architecture).

Let's see what this group can do.

Fully aware that most early golf courses were built near train rails, the early architectural groupies knelt along the tracks in rapt excitement, eschewing obvious potential danger, poised panther-like-ready to leap forward, literally springing themselves face-forward onto the next open car in hopes of a glimpse of their ODG heros in action, despite being under the wary, careful watch of the rugged, burly Railroad security man Lance and his fierce watchdog Pelvis.

I'm working on a caption involving Simpson, West Virginia, two sisters and their dog, and a foursome....I'll only post it when it's ready to go to print..... :)

Actually, They had been reading a short book of Mike Cirba writings, and were going to throw themselves in front of the next train.....

I apologize, as I am (probably)contributing to the (inevitable)downfall of your thread, but....

The dog is willing to wait for the edits, the other three are jumpers....

Ok..

For the next step, we get on all fours and crawl around looking for Maxwellian Poofs.   First one to find one gets to blow the Captain's whistle!
