Bart,
The first time I played there there was 50 mph steady wind blowing, which was straight downwind on the Klondyke. I hit a 4 iron off the tee about 265 and had about 190 left to the green and tried to hit an "easy" 8 iron. Since I couldn't see where it went hitting over the hill I just hoped it was on or next to the green but no such luck. I looked all over for my ball and couldn't find it, so I dropped one and finished the hole.
Walking to the next tee I noticed a ball sitting in a garden about 30 yards across the road behind the green, so I trespassed on over and sure enough it was my ball! So I know the view you posted quite well, and that was the exact spot I learned a valuable lesson about playing punch shots to keep the ball down when with a very strong wind and not just when against it
