Wayne,

My point about the pond on #6 is that if it were not there and someone missed their drive and were laying up, they would prefer to be right where the pond is...anything laying up to the left will then have the third deflected off the back or right by the little fall-offs you and Tommy keep talking about...all that being said, I don't think I've ever been in it, but it certainly has influenced my play of the hole...

From my own collection, the only courses without any water or staked hazard are St. Andrews Beach and Ballyneal -- maybe that's why I like them so much.  Wicked Pony won't have one, either.

I knew something was missing at Ballyneal.  A water feature!!  ;D
