I thought I would post some photographs after seeing photos of Lahinch.

Doonbeg is gorgeous.  Are the greens in better shape than they were a couple of years ago?  They were very soggy, patchy, and bumpy when I played.  Any it had not been raining that much.

Looks like the pictures were taken on a rare calm winter's day  :).

My father played there on tuesday and said it was in great shape.

I think the photo's were taken early on in the season around April?
We had a golf tour from work playing Lahinch and Doonbeg.
I really enjoyed the course, not sure if the weather helped. I think it doesn't get great reviews by all because Norman designed it and its high green fee, but its a fab landscape with some really great golf holes, ok quirky but thats links golf. Not sure how I would compare it to Lahinch, but I would recommend it on golfing terms alone not sure if I would recommend it in terms of value for money.
